At 4:00am I found this estute man's ideas on how to fundamentally change education for the unpredictability of our children's future. Our current educational systems, around the world, are not functioning because they were created to respond to the needs of the rise of industry. To adjust to the reality that surrounds us and the direction of future exponential change, he proposes we place as much importance on Creativity, as expressed in the arts, as we do on math and literacy.

He also has a very funny bit about imagining Shakespeare as a child, with a father telling him to "put down the pencil and go to bed," and to "stop talking like that---it scares people." Imagine you are teaching today's Shakespeare!

Ken Robinson speaks on how schools snuff out the creative impulse in students.
